DARDO FLIGHT TEST DAY
On October 29th 2015 in Torino Aeritalia airfield, FP-PROPELLER technical team was supporting the flight test of CFM Air DARDO powered by MWFly B25R made by OFFICINE AERONAUTICHE DAVID and equipped by FP-PROPELLER VPH6-TE-L69EN.
This propeller was specially designed for 150-200Hp engines, left rotation, available in both hydraulic and electric version.
Our Technician provided the dynamic balancing on the propeller installed on the engine.
The balancing was carried out at different RPM levels, in order to assure the top smoothness of the propeller during the different flight conditions.
Flights showed that the DARDO has enhanced the performance of the take-off roll distance, climb and cruise speed, easily maintained without pushing “too much” on the throttle.
The excellent choice of the power train capable of pushing the DARDO performance, was impressing the world famous test pilot Maurizio Cheli.
